1. About Obuyanzi Foundation
Obuyanzi Foundation is a community-based organization (CBO) registered and operating in Bungoma County, Kenya. Our mission is to support needy but academically capable students through secondary and tertiary education sponsorship and to empower teenage mothers and young fathers through skills training for sustainable livelihoods.
We operate as a non-profit, community-driven entity. All donations received through this website are directed towards our charitable programs in Kenya.

4. Donations
4.1 Donation Method
Donations to Obuyanzi Foundation are currently accepted via M-Pesa Paybill. Donor details including name and email may be submitted voluntarily through the donation confirmation form on the website.
4.2 Non-Refundable Policy
All donations made to Obuyanzi Foundation are voluntary and non-refundable. Once a payment is processed via M-Pesa, it cannot be reversed through the website. If you believe an error has occurred, please contact us immediately at info@obuyanzi.org or +254 713 994243 for assistance.
4.3 Use of Donations
Obuyanzi Foundation will use all donations exclusively for its stated charitable purposes, education sponsorship, and skills training for vulnerable youth in Bungoma County and surrounding communities. The foundation is committed to transparency and accountability in the stewardship of donor funds.
4.4 No Tax Receipt Guarantee
Obuyanzi Foundation is a CBO and not currently registered as a tax-exempt entity under the Income Tax Act (Cap. 470) of Kenya. Donors should seek independent tax advice regarding the deductibility of their contributions. The foundation does not automatically issue official tax receipts but can provide a written acknowledgement of donation upon request.
4.5 Third-Party Payment Processing
Donations are processed via Safaricom’s M-Pesa Paybill service. Obuyanzi Foundation is not responsible for any errors, delays, or failures arising from the M-Pesa platform or Safaricom’s systems. By making a donation, you also agree to Safaricom’s applicable Terms and Conditions.
5. Donor Accounts and Dashboard
The website provides a Donor Dashboard and account registration feature. If you create an account:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must provide accurate and truthful registration information.
- You must not share your account with any third party.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Obuyanzi Foundation reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain fraudulent information, or are inactive for an extended period.
6. Intellectual Property
