What we do
Education Support
Obuyanzi Foundation supports bright students from vulnerable homes to remain in school through financial assistance, mentorship, and emotional support. In recognition of the barriers girls often face in accessing and completing education, the Foundation intentionally prioritises 70% girls and 30% boys within its scholarship support.
Advocacy for Equal Access to Education
We believe education should never be determined by poverty, gender, or circumstance. Obuyanzi advocates for policies and community practices that ensure equitable access to education for all children, especially those most vulnerable to dropping out.
Skills and Youth Empowerment
Beyond formal education, the Foundation supports skills development and mentorship for young people, including teenage mothers and youth seeking a second chance to rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.
Partnerships for Community Impact
We actively collaborate with organisations, institutions, and community leaders whose work aligns with our mission. Through these partnerships, we aim to expand opportunities and implement initiatives that positively impact the lives and futures of young people.
